Kildee joins U.S. Reps. Haley Stevens and Hillary Scholten in backing Slotkin for U.S. Senate race
FLINT, Mich. –Today, U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee (MI-08) endorsed Elissa Slotkin for U.S. Senate. Kildee is headlining a group of 15 officials from across mid-Michigan who are throwing their support behind Slotkin. Slotkin and Kildee will campaign together in Flint on Friday.
"For the last five years I’ve seen Elissa Slotkin be one of the most effective and hardworking legislators in Congress,” said Kildee. “Elissa has shown an unmatched commitment to her constituents – not just by showing up and listening but by actually finding ways to get things done. Especially on issues like bringing down the cost of prescription drugs, stopping gun violence, and bringing manufacturing and jobs back to places like Michigan, Elissa’s track record is clear. At such a pivotal time for our country and our state, one thing is absolutely certain to me – Elissa Slotkin is the best person to represent Michigan in the U.S. Senate.” WHAT: Media availability with U.S. Reps.
