Mid-Michigan’s Largest Black Santa Holiday Gathering Expands Offerings with Pancake Breakfast and Special Performances
LANSING, MI – The Black Santa Experience, Mid-Michigan’s most anticipated Black Santa holiday gathering, is returning to Lansing for its third consecutive year on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Venue, 5660 W. Saginaw Highway. Last year, nearly 1,200 attendees joined the festivities, and this year promises to be even more memorable with new activities, entertainment and a continued focus on community.
This joyful experience offers families the opportunity to take professional photos with Santa, and enjoy an unforgettable holiday experience. Founder Karla Wagner shared her excitement for the event’s return, saying, “We are so proud to once again bring The Black Santa Experience to Lansing for our third year. We are committed to giving Mid-Michigan a Santa experience like no other, and we appreciate every Black-owned business that joins us on this incredible day.
"New This Year: Families looking for extended time with Santa can join the Pancake Breakfast with Santa George from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on November 30. This pre-event breakfast offers an exclusive chance for children and families to interact with Santa in a cozy, festive setting.
Adding to the excitement, we are thrilled to announce a special appearance by the Transcendence Performing Arts Center Vocal Ensemble. This talented group of singers under the direction of LaVonte Heard will be performing holiday classics, bringing added cheer to the day’s events ahead of their upcoming Holiday Pops performance with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra at the Wharton Center December 15.
