President Joe Biden is scheduled to be back in Michigan today to promote his Build Back Better agenda, which is part of his trillion-dollar infrastructure package.
The White House says Mr. Biden will travel to Bay City to discuss the progress made by his administration in the past two years.
Biden will also have a dialogue on the competitiveness legislation that passed this summer in order to help increase the production of semiconductors.
This will be President Biden’s fifth visit to Michigan since he took office.
He visited the Pfizer plant in Portage in February 2021 where the company’s COVID-19 vaccine is produced. He and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer talked about the importance of getting vaccinated during the visit.
On May 18th of this year, the president visited Ford’s Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Wayne County.
Over the July 4th weekend....Biden visited the Traverse City area with Whitmer. His most recent trip to Michigan was for the North American International Auto Show in Detroit two months ago.
