Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson will be telling her story in a new memoir entitled Lovely One, NewsOne has reported.

This book will give us deeper understanding of her journey from childhood to motherhood. It also highlights her incredible journey and challenge in the U.S. justice system as the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court.

“It will be a transparent accounting of what it takes to rise through the ranks of the legal profession, especially as a woman of color with an unusual name and as a mother and a wife striving to reconcile the demands of a high-profile career with the private needs of my loved ones,” she shared in an interview, according to NewsOne.

“My hope is that the fullness of my journey as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, litigator, and friend will stand as a testament for young women, people of color, and dreamers everywhere,” Justice Jackson.

While there is no known release date, we do know that it will be published by Random House.
