Lansing, MI – Community members are advised that Capital Area District Libraries (CADL) will be closed in observance of the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holidays. All 13 branches of CADL and the Mobile Library will be closed from Friday, Dec. 23-Monday, Dec. 26, reopening on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Additionally, all 13 branches of CADL and the Mobile Library will be closed from Friday, Dec. 30-Monday, Jan. 2. CADL’s 13 libraries and the Mobile Library will resume normal hours on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Access to CADL’s digital collection, including eBooks, music and movies, remains available during the closures. Community members can access CADL’s digital collection at cadl.org/digital. About CADL: Under the leadership of an appointed Board of Trustees, CADL serves most residents in Ingham County and part of Eaton County.
