According to various news reports, the kid charged with killing 4 classmates and wounding 7 other people in a metro-Detroit high school on November 30th of last year, will plead guilty this morning to murder and terrorism charges.

Lawyers for 16-year-old Ethan Crumbley indicated earlier this year he would mount an insanity defense. But, according to an official with the Oakland County Prosecutor’s office, that plan appears to have been scrapped.

Chief Assistant Prosecutor David Williams in a statement to the media said, "We can confirm that the shooter is expected to plead guilty to all 24 charges, including terrorism and the prosecutor has notified the victims. There have been no plea deals, no reductions, and no sentencing agreements."

Crumbly is due to appear in court at 8:30 this morning. We will update this story later as warranted.
