OLD TOWN RETAILERS DONATE PROFITS TO LOCAL SCHOOLS SHOP FOR SCHOOLS WITH OLD TOWN

Lansing, Michigan, November 1, 2017– On Saturday, November 18, 2017, select Old Town merchants will donate 18% of their profits to participating local schools!

The business owners in Old Town are part of your community and want to give back. Lynn Ross, owner of Mother & Earth says “We are very excited to partner with local schools. It’s a true win-win all around. The schools earn money for supplies, camp, or even scholarships and families come to Old Town to shop and support small businesses.” By shopping locally, not only are you supporting small businesses and their families, you are putting tax dollars back into the local economy in addition to supporting our children and their schools! Old Town has modeled this project after a program in Grand Haven that raised nearly $10,000 last year for local schools.

You can participate in this community event by shopping at any of the retail stores listed below. Upon purchase, they will provide you with a list of the schools and an option to support your community school.

Old Town merchants have partnered with LAFCU for their support and assistance distributing funds to each organization.
